Subject: Periodic Mail Maintenance
Hi:

Incoming mail has been deleted for the accounts appearing on the list below. Your PCFA.ORG mail was not harmed unless your account name appears on that list. Saved messages, home pages, etc. were not disturbed for any user.

Periodically, the PCFA.ORG administrator sends an e-mail message to all users instructing them to delete that one particular message. While that seems strange, it provides the administrator with a quick way to purge incoming e-mail from the accounts which are not reading their mail and thus filling up the limited space on the PCFA.ORG hard disk drive. The last message was dated February 19, 1998, giving a May 1, 1998 deadline to delete the particular message.

Some of these users may have made an early transition to Internet of Clark County (IOCC), but many still do not realize that PCFA.ORG moved from the Arkansas Public School Computer Network (APSCN) line to IOCC in late February. Since point-to-point-protocol (PPP) has been disabled, some of these folks may be complaining of trouble in logging in.

If any of your friends are on this list, you might want to contact them to get them interested in Internet once again. More accounts on IOCC means more revenue for that company and better quality of service for us all!
