Mail your application, along with a self-addressed and stamped envelope, to Prescott Community Freenet Association, 326 Cale Road, Prescott AR 71857. Your account name and password will be mailed back to you. If you do NOT send a self-addressed stamped envelope, your application will be discarded!

PCFA.ORG Appropriate Use Policy Sometimes referred to as Acceptable Use Policy

Through PCFA.ORG, users can communicate with others, share resources, search databases, and retrieve useful information. Users are chosen by the system administration based upon this application. Users are bound by this following Appropriate Use Policy. Furthermore, any person using PCFA.ORG consents to the conditions of this policy.

Any traffic from a PCFA.ORG user which traverses another system or network, including any access to the Internet, becomes subject to the comparable policies of any system or network through which the traffic flows. Thus, PCFA.ORG users are automatically subject to the policies of the Internet service provider which provides the PCFA.ORG computer with a connection. Any violations of any system's or network's policies are deemed to be violations of the policies of PCFA.ORG.

In general:

• This system is to be used for legal purposes only. No illegal activity is permitted.
• No user shall disrupt or attempt to disrupt the use of the system or network or use it for activities prohibited by the system or network.
• The user is responsible for any traffic through their account. Users who "loan" an account or enable unauthorized access will lose their account immediately.
• It is the responsibility of each user to make good decisions as to what information is retrieved and what is done with that information.
• Users providing information shall assure the information meets all standards of this local community and of any community in which it will be retrieved.
• Users should assume all information accessible via PCFA.ORG is private property and will respect the rights of the owner(s) of that property. However, users should also assume that any information stored on PCFA.ORG can be accessed by others, even if they are not entitled to do so.
• Proper courtesy should be observed at all times. Dial-up users should limit their on-line time and understand the system administration reserves the right to limit on-line time. When bulletin boards or public posting areas are moderated, the decision of the moderator is final.

Any user under the age of eighteen agrees to make this document known to his/her parents and obtain their approval in order to continue to use PCFA.ORG.

Due to the "open" nature of the Internet, no liability will be assumed by any Internet service provider (ISP), ISP employee, or any participant in the PCFA.ORG administration for any user's use or misuse of the system. User indemnifies and holds harmless these persons for such actions or consequences.

From time to time, the Prescott Community Freenet Association or its administrator(s) will make decisions on whether specific uses of PCFA.ORG are consistent with this policy. The decisions and policies of Prescott Community Freenet Association are subject to change without notice and are always final.

Non-compliance with this policy will result in the immediate removal of the user's account.
