It seems like the past 3 months have flown by like a K1200S at the Nurburgring.
I missed our state rally due to a hurt and swollen wrist., the results of playing like a boy on my off road bike on some trails. Perhaps some day I will realize I am past 40, but I hope not!!
At the end of may I took part in the Nunbetter Memorial Ride. A friend from one of the BMW R1100s internet bulletin boards was killed in a motorcycle accident. The members of the bulletin board are passing a seat cowl and a journal around the United States to show our respects and sympathy to his family. I was able to participate, and picked up the “baton” in Texarkana, and passed it off in Jackson TN. Via a stop in MO. The story can be read at shannonsride.com.
Early June had me on a dream trip with my wife in Colorado. We stayed at the Wildwood Inn in Gunnison, CO, and rode different routes each day. Colorado is a big place, and I will have to make a few more trips back again to make sure I don’t miss anything. I have some videos online at http://users.conwaycorp.net/bswartz/ There are a few videos near the bottom of the page that are from Colorado.
I have received several articles from you guys and gals in the club, and they are really good articles… good thing, since I have been so busy riding!!!! Keep the stories coming…
Hope to see you on the road!

Text Box: A pat on the back from a rally attendee!!!!!
Thank you for putting on a “no frills” and fun rally.  The food was great, the hospitality better and the roads were the best. Even the rain on Sat. morning was tolerable because it enabled me to catch an extra 40 winks before I hit the curves again. A special thanks to Charlie for steering me the best roads and to Jerry R. for the educational conversation. I will try to become a more frequent  visitor, my last visit was 1990 and the State has paved several gravel roads since then.

All the best until next time. The Houston, TX attendee, not to be confused with Houston, AR
